Just about anyone who’s been inside a cab in South Florida has a complaint of one form or another. In Miami-Dade there have been repeated attempts over the years to reform the industry and make it more consumer friendly. County commissioners just gave approval to a plan that would require cab drivers to accept credit cards, upgrade dress codes and the purchasse of new cars. But is that really the answer?
